  1. Hi!
I just started a Yahoo group called, Homeschool Swap Boxes.

    https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/HomeschoolSwapBoxes/info

The idea is for homeschoolers to collect items from their hometown/city/state/country and send them to other homeschoolers. It’s a fun and great way to learn History, Geography, Social Studies and more.

Most of us have been using the **free** priority boxes from the US Post Office. They cost $5.80 to send anywhere in the U.S. and Internationally. (There is a weight limit for international mailing, I think.) You can also send your items via Media Mail, which is even less expensive in the US but not available Internationally.

Some of the items that are sent are:

    ~postcards
    ~pencils
    ~menus
    ~tour brochures
    ~maps
    ~transit schedules
    ~programs
    ~newspapers
    ~paper placemats
    ~magnets
    ~drawings/paintings
    ~pictures
    ~small crafts
Let your imagination be your guide.

******PLEASE* note: We were created from families from the Secular Homeschooler list. We are inclusive but would appreciate it if there were NO overtly religious or faith based items in the swap boxes. Thank you!*****

Would you kindly forward this information to your membership? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
